Kenneth G. Shann is a certified clinical perfusionist with over 30 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in cardiac surgery and perfusion services. He has a strong background in clinical process improvement, management, and collaboration, consistently enhancing patient care quality and cost-effectiveness. Kenneth has led numerous perfusion teams, developed clinical practice guidelines, and implemented electronic medical records. His leadership roles have included mentoring team members, stabilizing, and expanding teams, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Recognized with numerous national awards, Kenneth is a versatile communicator and influential team builder, adept at working with healthcare professionals and administrators to develop innovative solutions.
David C. Fitzgerald
David C. Fitzgerald, D.H.A., M.P.H., C.C.P., FAACP, is a distinguished healthcare professional with over 29 years of experience in cardiovascular perfusion and academic leadership. He holds a Doctor of Health Administration and a Master’s in Public Health, with notable contributions to perioperative blood management and perfusion education. Dr. Fitzgerald has held various academic and clinical leadership positions and has actively participated in numerous professional organizations and committees. His achievements have earned him multiple national awards, and he has published extensively in cardiovascular perfusion. Additionally, Dr. Fitzgerald is committed to mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
